Indianapolis 2012 Fireworks and Events: And Party Ideas Too

My first thought was to use this space to provide a list of all the 2012 fireworks displays taking place in Indianapolis and Central Indiana. But with many communities cancelling or re-evaluating daily whether to allow their fireworks shows to take place, I've decided it would be better to simply provide a link to our friends at WTHR. They have the manpower to continually keep their listing of displays updated, even as cancellations occur.

Here's my collection of 4th of July fun and tips!

Indianapolis Houses for Sale

Q: Did you hear the one about the Liberty Bell?
A: Yeah, it cracked me up!

Q: Do they have a 4th of July in England?
A: Of course they do. That’s how they get from the 3rd to the 5th.

I love the wreath for the door!

Three U.S. presidents have died on July 4th. Both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on July 4, 1826, the fiftieth anniversary of the singing of the Declaration of Independence. Five years later, James Monroe died on July 4, 1831.

Have a Safe & Happy 4th of July!
